When do I need to book a bridal trial? There is no rule as to how early you book your bridal trial. I would, however, advise a trial anywhere between 1 and 6 months prior to your wedding day. This is because your personal preferences may change if you have the trial too early and may result in another bridal trial needed.
-
How far in advance do I need to book my wedding makeup? My diary for bridal makeup is open 2 years in advance. I would, however, advise to book and secure your date as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. To go ahead and book your date I will need the venue, date, time of ceremony and how many people would require makeup.
-
How much are your services? Please contact me directly for my price list.
-
How many people can you accommodate for on my wedding day? With regards to how many people I can provide makeup for on the morning of your wedding will depend on; the time of your ceremony and how early you are happy to begin. On average the time allocated for makeup is 1 hour per person and I aim to have the entire bridal party ready 1 hour before the ceremony to ensure you have time to get dressed and have some photographs taken beforehand.
-
Do you provide bridal makeup trials?I do provide trials for both the bride and the entire bridal party. Trials are an additional charge to the wedding makeup and there is no limit to how many trials you can have. The time allocated for a trial is 1-2 hours, however, if you would like more time for your trial please do not hesitate to ask when booking your trials. For more information regarding trials, please contact me to receive your bridal brochure.
-
Do you travel for weddings?YES! I travel both in the UK and abroad for weddings. A small travel fee is included in the price of the bridal makeup on the big day and after this there is a small charge per mile. If the location is over 1 hour away, I please ask that accommodation is provided the night before. For bookings abroad, I please ask that flights and accommodation are provided.
-
Do you provide face gems and glitter for festival makeup?I can provide a small amount of glitter for festival makeup, however, I do not provide face gems. If you would like to bring them to your appointment, I will be more than happy to apply them.
-
Do you provide lashes? All makeup application appointments include lashes if required. If you have lashes that you would like to bring, I will be more than happy to apply them for you.
-
Can anybody have microblading? There are a number of contraindications that make microblading unsuitable for some people. These include; Anyone under the age of 18, certain medication conditions and/or daily medications and pregnancy. Please contact me directly for further information.
-
Do you microblade over previous artist work?As a general rule, I do not microblade over previous work. This is for a number of reasons which make it very difficult to do. If the brows have faded significantly, however, I may be able to microblade so that the new hairstrokes can still be seen. If you have had microblading or semi-permanent brows before, please contact me directly to set up a mini consultation where I can take a closer look at what is left.
-
How often do I need a top up for my semi-permanent makeup?Included in your initial treatment is a 4-6 week top up. After this, to keep the brows looking fresh I would recommend a yearly top up. This will vary from person to person depending on skin type and how well the brows are looked after. Prices are therefore based on the time from the last top up. If you are in any doubt of whether or not your brows are in need of a top up, please get in touch and we can have a look at them together.
-
How may sessions will I need? This is a very hard question to answer as everyone is different. There are a number of factors contributing to how long it will take to lighten or remove your semi-permanent makeup. A minimum of 3 sessions is recommended, however, this does not mean the makeup will have been completely removed in this time. After 3 sessions we will be at a good point where we can fully assess the brows to give a good guide as to how much longer this might take. The fresher the brow, the easier it is usually to remove.
-
Does removal / lightening hurt?NO! There may be a mild stinging sensation at certain points during the treatment but a numbing cream is used to make it as comfortable as possible.
-
